Colby Crapo Wins At Seeley Lake
January 29, 2009 by BAM Films
The MWR SnoCross at Seeley Lake was great event. The SnoCross races were part of the town wide
Winter Fest celebration. While the weather was cold (-20) the racing was hot. Sam McLam, Colby Crapo, Taylor Dyess and more, fought it out on a well built course made by Curtis Friede of Kurt’s Polaris.
Sam McLam was taken out just before the finals when he fell from his sled on the far turn and was hit in the head by another racers ski. It rang his bell and he was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
That left Colby Crapo to collect top honors on both Pro Open and Pro SS.
Taylor Dyess took the win in Sport SS, Tyler Swarm in Sport 440 and Trevor
Leighton in Sport Combo.
In the Semi-Pros, Stephen Edwards won Open and Logan Halford in SS.
Next week the MWR will be in Alpine, Wyoming. For more
