John, enjoyed your story. I worked with and for Snow Goer and Snow Week from 1978 to 1986 as a stunt/photo guy. Your piece brought back alot of memories. I started riding in 1959 and purchased and saved countless magazines. A couple published by Popular Science, Snow Sports, Popular Snowmobiling, most of the Race and Rallys, most of the Snow Goer publications including a pristine copy of the Snow Goer 1975 Racing Annual. I uncased a couple of hundred mags that havn't seen the light of day for 43 years! Including the Holy Grail of sno-mo mags - Invitation to Snowmobiling. Thanks for motivating me to " crack the case" so to speak. It'll take me weeks to get through these things.

Thanks again,
